Beer Academy To Hold First Offshore Course At Budvar Brewery

Beer Academy To Hold First Offshore Course At Budvar Brewery
December 2008

Three days, April 21st to April 23rd   2009, will mark a great leap forward in the history of the Beer Academy when it holds its first one-day foundation course outside of the UK at the Budweiser Budvar brewery at Ceske Budejovice in Southern Bohemia.
The three day visit costs just £248 including flights, transfers, two nights in a four star hotel, meals and the course itself, as well as an opportunity to do a bit of sightseeing in Prague. Describing it as “an absolute bargain” Beer Academy Co-ordinator Dan Cannas points out that although it is only twice the price of a similar course run in London, it offers a rare opportunity to get acquainted at first hand with the brewing of one of the world’s great classic craft lagers. “For British beer enthusiast Ceske Budejovice may be one the holy places but is not the most accessible in the world so this course is a great opportunity” he said.
The course is open to anybody interested in beer whether they are in the business in some capacity or simply just beer enthusiasts. Anybody interested in signing up for the event should do so now however as there is a limit of 15 places on the course.
Further information be obtained from   www.beeracademy.co.uk or the Beer Academy 020 7499 8144.
